The University of Cyprus, in light of the recent crisis of the COVID-19 pandemic and in view of the need to step up scientific research specializing in the emergence and reappearance of infectious diseases, has decided to launch a fund-raising campaign to strengthen the research being conducted at the organization. The main goal of this effort is to provide humanity with a way to deal with both the current crisis and to prepare for possible future contamination with infectious diseases.
